Back To Work

Tomorrow morning I will be getting back to work after my break for the festive season. My husband and I have been working on our barn conversion for the last week, and our slow project is coming along well. But I am now ready and excited to get back to work on a number of garden design and sustainable projects in the coming weeks.

Our start your own organic garden course is starting tomorrow. And I have several other projects on the go. I am sure that a number of others are also starting back to work in the next few days. I hope that all of you are zealous about your occupations and excited to get back into the swing of things and work towards a more positive future.

Whatever you do, and whether you work for passion or profit, it is important to think about the contribution you can make to a more sustainable future for all. Work comes in many forms and it is important to recognise your value does not just rest on your pay check.

I diversify, and yet all of the different projects I work on have one thing in common – the core permaculture ethics of care for the planet, care for humanity and fair share. It took me a while to get to this point in my career, where I really feel happy in what I do and really feel that I can make a difference.

If you dread returning to work, know that you are definitely not alone. If you are feeling a little lost when it comes to your career, and want to do something a little more aligned with your core strengths and values, I can help you determine the best path.

There are plenty of ways to further the cause of sustainability, through work and in your free time. If you want to get in touch, I would be glad to discuss your goals and aspirations. And help you work out the best route forwards.
