Sustainable Work – Make Money Sustainably From Home

Blossom for ‘new beginnings’ – what will sustainable work look like for you in the years to come?

Many of us are re-thinking the way we work right now. As someone who worked from home for years, I understand how challenging it can sometimes be. But I know how rewarding it can be too. Sustainable work from home can be great – in a range of different ways.

I enjoy the freedom of working for myself. In addition, I find it very rewarding to work in a way that makes a positive contribution. My work allows me to follow my passions, and allows me to avoid working for those who do not share my ethics and concerns.

Many people forced to work from home right now are struggling. I can understand that. But others are finding it easier and more enjoyable than perhaps they imagined they would.

Whether they no longer have a job, or are rethinking the way they work, a lot of people are thinking about how they might make money from home in future. If you are one of those people, you might be interested in this article I wrote:

Right Livelihood: How to Make Sustainable Money from Home

I am definitely not saying it is easy. And I am definitely not saying that it is ‘one size fits all’. But if you are trying to live more sustainably – you should definitely think about where and how you work. You should think about how you could make money for yourself in a sustainable and ethical way. Or, if that does not work for you, you could think about finding a sustainable company to work for.

Work does, of course, usually have a financial incentive. But work should be far more than just a way to make a living. By choosing the right money-making options, we can all, no matter what our skills and abilities, make a more positive contribution to our world.
