As we near the end of 2023, I am minded to look back at what has happened and what has been achieved over the year. As the November nights draw in, I am thankful for the hope that clients and fellow permaculture practitioners, rewilders, environmentalists and conservationists have given me in what have, for many, been extremely difficult times.
I myself have continued to work on a wide range of permaculture and sustainability projects taking place around the world from my home base here in Scotland. I have worked remotely with many amazing people who either have been or want to improve the world for the better.
I could not possibly list all the projects I have worked on – but they have included domestic garden sites, playgrounds, community gardens, commercial market gardens, campgrounds, and farms… all projects showing that in spite of how it may sometimes feel, there are many of us around the world seeking to address the problems that we face.
Here are just a few images from some of the projects I’ve been involved with over the last year or so.

If any of the images above inspires you, and you would like a similar design for your own property, please do get in touch. I would be glad to help.
As you can see from the varied projects above, I work on a wide range of different scales, on very different permaculture solutions tailored to specific sites. Of course, I do not share all the details of all my designs on this site. But do sometimes share examples of concept plans – the first stage in most projects.
I plan to update on this site more regularly again moving forwards, so please do look out for more case studies and articles. Soon – I will also post some of the exciting plans I have for the months to come…
